A multivitamin capsule in this range carries as many as seventeen declared actives. Each one is assayed against the pharmacopoeial method on the plant’s own Shimadzu HPLC and UV systems before the batch is released, and the results are on record.

What a vitamins and nutrition range demands from a plant, and what we do
The technical points of this range and how the plant handles them
An assay for every declared active
A multivitamin or antioxidant capsule in this range declares up to seventeen actives, from vitamin A and lycopene down to selenium at 70 micrograms. Each is tested by the method the pharmacopoeia lays down for it, on the plant’s HPLC and UV systems, with the mineral content by the titrimetric methods the monograph specifies. A batch is released against the full assay, not against the lead ingredient alone.
Overage, and a shelf life that comes from data
Vitamins lose potency over the shelf life, and they lose it sooner in a liquid than in a tablet. The formulation carries the overage the product needs so that the label claim is still met at the end of the shelf life, and the shelf life printed on the pack comes from the plant’s own accelerated and long-term studies in Thermolab chambers for that product in that pack.
Iron that does not oxidise, stain or taste of metal
Ferrous ascorbate, carbonyl iron, ferric ammonium citrate and ferrous bisglycinate each behave differently in a suspension. The liquids are made and filled in a closed system, carry the preservative and antioxidant the formulation needs, and are checked on every batch for iron content, pH, viscosity and taste before filling; the tablets are film coated so that the iron does not reach the teeth.
Diethylene glycol tested at three stages, in-house
Fourteen products in this range are suspensions, syrups, solutions or drops made with glycerine, propylene glycol or sorbitol. The plant tests for diethylene glycol and ethylene glycol on its own Agilent gas chromatograph at three stages: every container of solvent before it is released to production, the bulk before filling, and the finished product before release.
Light and moisture on the sensitive actives
Methylcobalamin, folic acid, vitamin A and lycopene degrade in light, and calcium and iron salts pick up moisture. These products go into alu-alu blisters, amber glass or opaque HDPE with the closure the product needs, and the pack is chosen with the stability data rather than after it.
A 1250 mg calcium tablet that a patient can swallow
Calcium carbonate at 1250 mg makes a large, heavy tablet. Hardness, friability, weight variation and disintegration are checked through the compression run on every batch, and the tablet is film coated for swallowing. Dissolution is run on Electrolab apparatus.
A very small dose in a 5 ml shot
A 60,000 IU cholecalciferol solution carries 1.5 milligrams of active in a 5 ml bottle. Content uniformity across the filling run is what makes that product either right or useless, and every batch is assayed from the start, middle and end of the run.
Ceiling prices
Calcium carbonate, cholecalciferol, ferrous salt with folic acid, folic acid, ascorbic acid and pyridoxine are in Section 26 of the National List of Essential Medicines 2022 and carry NPPA ceiling prices, the 60,000 IU cholecalciferol strength among them. We print the MRP you specify; it must stay within the ceiling for those products.

The rate is quoted in writing, product by product, against your pack sizes and annual quantity. The plant is outside the hill-state budgetary-support scheme, so the rate you receive now is the rate after March 2027.

Prices, combinations and labelling
Fixed-dose combinations
Combinations are manufactured only where the combination is approved. The catalogue carries no combination of vitamin B1, B6 and B12, prohibited by GSR 702(E) of 14 October 1999, and none of the vitamin combinations with analgesics, anti-inflammatory agents or tranquillisers prohibited under the same rules.
Manufactured as drugs
Every product in this range is manufactured under the plant’s drug manufacturing licence and to the pharmacopoeial monograph where one exists. Packs carry the generic name in the prominence required by Rule 96, the manufacturer’s name, licence number and batch details.
Release
Every batch is tested in the GLP-certified laboratory, including the assay of each declared active, the physical tests for the dosage form, microbial limits on the liquids and the diethylene glycol and ethylene glycol tests, and released with a certificate of analysis that travels with the consignment.

Vitamins, minerals and nutrition products were worth 21,845 crore rupees in the year to March 2026, 9 per cent of the Indian pharmaceutical market and the fifth largest therapy after cardiac, gastrointestinal, anti-infectives and anti-diabetic. Growth here is price-led, so the rate decides the business
Over the year to March 2026 the therapy grew 6.9 per cent in value while units fell 0.6 per cent. In a therapy where the volume is flat and the value comes from price, the rate a marketing company buys at is what the margin is made of, which is why the written rate against a product list matters more here than anywhere else.
Anaemia in more than half the women in the country
The National Family Health Survey found 57 per cent of women aged 15 to 49 anaemic, measured in 724,115 women, up from 53.1 per cent in the previous round. Iron with folic acid is the largest single sub-segment of this therapy, and the catalogue carries it as tablets, capsules, suspensions, syrups and drops. Vitamin D deficiency runs through the patients other ranges already treat
A meta-analysis of twelve Indian studies covering 8,953 patients with type 2 diabetes found 79 per cent of them deficient in vitamin D, with a mean serum level of 17.21 nanograms per millilitre against a normal floor of 30. The licence decides what goes on the pack
The same actives reach the market by two routes: as a food supplement under an FSSAI licence, or as a medicine under the Drugs and Cosmetics Act. The medicine route is what allows a pharmacopoeial strength on the pack, an assay of every vitamin on every batch, manufacture under Revised Schedule M and a prescription label. Every product in this catalogue is manufactured under the plant’s drug manufacturing licence, and a marketing company that wants the medicine route needs a plant that holds one.

Which vitamin and nutrition products can you manufacture under our brand?
All 42 products in the catalogue: calcium and vitamin D, iron and folic acid, methylcobalamin and B-complex, multivitamins and antioxidants, and the single vitamins and minerals, as tablets, hard gelatin capsules, suspensions, syrups, solutions and drops. If you need a composition that is not on the list, send it with the strength and pack; a product not yet on the licence needs the state authority’s endorsement before the first batch, which adds a few weeks.
Do you make these as food supplements or as drugs?
As drugs, under the plant’s drug manufacturing licence and to the pharmacopoeial monograph where one exists. If you want the same actives as a food supplement under an FSSAI licence, that is a different licence and a different plant, and we will say so rather than take the order.
How do you make sure a multivitamin actually contains what the pack claims?
By assaying every declared active against its pharmacopoeial method before the batch is released, and by carrying the overage the formulation needs so that the claim is still met at the end of the shelf life. The stability data behind that shelf life is available to your regulatory team on request.
Can you make soft gelatin capsules?
No. The capsule section fills hard gelatin capsules with powder and pellets. The capsules in this range, including the lycopene and antioxidant products, are hard gelatin. If your product needs a soft gelatin shell, it is not made here.
What is the minimum quantity for a vitamins range?
One batch per product. The batch size depends on the product and pack, and the written proposal states it against each product you ask for.
Can you match the formulation of a brand we already sell?
Send the reference product and its pack. For a product already on our licence the first batch follows the standard 45 to 60 day timeline; where the excipients, flavour or overage differ from ours, the formulation team assesses the change before quoting, and any product not yet on the licence needs the state endorsement first.
Do you supply the documents our regulatory team needs?
Yes. Copies of the manufacturing licence and WHO-GMP certificate, the Site Master File, a certificate of analysis with every batch, the solvent test records for the oral liquids, and stability data on request. A quality agreement is signed after order confirmation.
