Dispatch takes 45 to 60 days from the day the artwork is finalised, for the first batch and for repeat orders, stated in the written proposal.

The technical points of this range and how the plant handles them
Enteric coating that holds in acid
Pantoprazole, rabeprazole, esomeprazole and omeprazole break down in stomach acid, so they are made as enteric-coated pellets in capsules or as enteric-coated tablets. Every batch is tested in the acid stage and then the buffer stage of the delayed-release dissolution test on Electrolab dissolution testers before release.
Two kinds of pellet in one capsule
The pantoprazole, rabeprazole and esomeprazole combinations with domperidone, levosulpiride and itopride carry enteric-coated pellets of the acid suppressant and sustained-release pellets of the prokinetic in one hard gelatin capsule, filled in the capsule section. The assay of each active is reported separately on the certificate of analysis. See capsule manufacturing.
Antacid suspensions that stay uniform
Magaldrate, aluminium and magnesium hydroxide and sucralfate suspensions are dense and settle if they are not handled properly. They are manufactured in the 3 kL liquid manufacturing plant with its manufacturing and storage vessels and in-line filtration, and every batch is tested for assay and microbial limits. Moisture-sensitive actives
The proton pump inhibitor tablets and capsules are packed in alu-alu blisters, with the foil printed on the plant’s own rotogravure unit, and other products in PVC or PVDC blisters as the stability data supports.
Orally disintegrating and coated tablets
Ondansetron orally disintegrating tablets, enteric-coated bisacodyl and doxylamine tablets and film-coated ursodeoxycholic acid tablets are compressed and coated in the tablet section. See tablet manufacturing.
Creams
The anorectal creams with lignocaine, hydrocortisone, calcium dobesilate and nifedipine are made in the external preparation section and filled in laminated tubes. See external preparations.
Stability
Stability studies run in Thermolab chambers at the plant, and the data is available to your regulatory team on request.

Rate, batch, lead time and documents
The terms every proposal states
Rate
The rate is quoted in writing, product by product, against your pack sizes and annual quantity. The plant is outside the hill-state budgetary-support scheme, so the rate you receive now is the rate after March 2027.
Minimum quantity
One batch per product. The batch size for each product is stated in the proposal.
Lead time
Dispatch takes 45 to 60 days from the day the artwork is finalised, for the first batch and for repeat orders.
Payment
An advance on the first order, and terms as mutually agreed after that.
Dispatch
To your depots in any state by road, with freight to your account.
Documents
A certificate of analysis with every batch, copies of the licences and certificates, the Site Master File for vendor qualification, stability data on request, and a quality agreement after order confirmation.

Prices, combinations and labelling
Fixed-dose combinations
Combinations are manufactured only where the combination is approved. The gastro combinations prohibited by the Ministry of Health in September 2018 and January 2019, ranitidine with domperidone, magaldrate or drotaverine, and omeprazole with ondansetron or drotaverine among them, are not manufactured.
Labelling
The proton pump inhibitors, prokinetics, antispasmodics, antiemetics and ursodeoxycholic acid are Schedule H medicines and are labelled accordingly, with the generic name in the prominence required by Rule 96 and the manufacturer’s name, licence number and batch details on every pack. Antacid, laxative and digestive enzyme products are labelled as the non-prescription products they are.
Release
Every batch is tested in the GLP-certified laboratory and released with a certificate of analysis that travels with the consignment.

A proton pump inhibitor goes with every other range
A pantoprazole or rabeprazole capsule is written alongside antibiotics, pain medicines, steroids and cardiac prescriptions, so a marketing company sells its gastro products through every doctor it already visits for its other ranges, and the antacid suspension, the antispasmodic and the laxative sell across the counter as well.
The 2018 and 2019 bans moved prescriptions to the approved combinations
In September 2018 and January 2019 the Ministry of Health prohibited ranitidine with domperidone, magaldrate or drotaverine, omeprazole with ondansetron or drotaverine, and dicyclomine with paracetamol, among others. The prescriptions those brands held have moved to the combinations that remain approved: pantoprazole, rabeprazole and esomeprazole with domperidone, levosulpiride or itopride, mefenamic acid with dicyclomine, and drotaverine with mefenamic acid, all of which are in this catalogue. The pellet capsules carry the margin
Pantoprazole, omeprazole, ondansetron, domperidone, lactulose and ursodeoxycholic acid are in the National List of Essential Medicines and sell under NPPA ceiling prices. The proton pump inhibitor capsules with a sustained-release prokinetic, the antacid suspensions with oxetacaine and the antispasmodic combinations are priced by the brand, and a range is built with both: the ceiling-price products for volume and the combinations for margin.

Which gastro products can you manufacture under our brand?
All 86 products in the catalogue. If you need a composition that is not on the list, send it with the strength and pack; a product not yet on the licence needs the state authority’s endorsement before the first batch, which adds a few weeks.
Can you make pantoprazole and rabeprazole capsules with a sustained-release prokinetic?
Yes. Pantoprazole, rabeprazole and esomeprazole with domperidone, levosulpiride or itopride, and pantoprazole with cinitapride, are on the list. The enteric-coated and sustained-release pellets are filled in one capsule in the capsule section.
Can a gastro range with capsules, a suspension and a cream ship together?
Yes. Capsules, tablets, suspensions, drops and creams are made in four sections of the same plant and dispatched as one consignment against one set of documents.
What is the minimum quantity for a gastro range?
One batch per product. The batch size depends on the product and pack, and the written proposal states it against each product you ask for.
How is the rate quoted for a range of 20 or 30 products?
In writing, product by product, against your pack sizes and annual quantity. Send the whole list at once; the proposal covers rate per pack, batch size, pack format, capacity committed, payment terms, lead time and documents.
Can you match the formulation of a brand we already sell?
Send the reference product and its pack. For a product already on our licence the first batch follows the standard 45 to 60 day timeline; where the release profile or excipients differ from ours, the formulation team assesses the change before quoting, and any product not yet on the licence needs the state endorsement first.
Do you supply the documents our regulatory team needs?
Yes. Copies of the manufacturing licence and WHO-GMP certificate, the Site Master File, a certificate of analysis with every batch, and stability data on request. A quality agreement is signed after order confirmation.
