About the role
What you will do
- Set up and run the 4-colour rotogravure machine to print aluminium blister and strip foil.
- Mount and change the printing cylinders and doctor blades for each job.
- Prepare the inks and keep viscosity and colour to the approved shade.
- Keep print registration and colour matched to the approved artwork, and check each roll with QA before release.
- Clean the cylinders and the machine after each job and record it.
- Report breakdowns to engineering.
What we are looking for
- ITI or 12th.
- 2–4 years running a 4-colour rotogravure printing machine.
